My name is Marco Dal Bello I was born in Venice 38 years ago

When does your artistic passion begin?
“Artistic” looks a bit excessive for my skills. Let’s say that I draw more or less since ever. My first “masterpiece” goes back to an animation inspired to Star Wars using a Commodore 16.

How is your relation with TV
As a matter of fact, zero, not considering some TV serial and some films. I prefer watching DVD (no advertising breaks!)

Which is your favourite program?
“Happy Days”, “Gli Eroi di Hogan” and “La famiglia Addams” concerning the past. Nowadays “Lost”, “Heroes” and "Dr. House".

Which TV channel are you mostly watching?
Italia 1 and MTV. Two channels broadcasting cartoons and telefilms free of charge.

When does your passion for cartoons start?
Should we mean “anime”: Goldrake – Atlas Ufo Robot in 1979 for sure. Otherwise "Tom & Jerry" and "Popeye" from the childhood.

Your favourite cartoon and why?
The list would be very long; thinking of a cartoon I still like in spite of the years elapsed I would say “The Simpsons”. (Saying Goldrake is pure nostalgia

Do You have a WEB site, why was it born, describe it.
www.cosedimarco.com was intended as a container and archive of my works with wood. A couple of years ago I moved from wood to digital works and thereafter links to external sites like Blog and Image Galler have been added. The site itself which is now based on the 6.0 version is a “work in progress” always.

What are you presently doing?
On the job side I work in projecting yacht and ship interiors in an architect studio.

Future projects
A couple of months ago I started the idea of a manga about Goldrake only using 3D charactersdrawn with Sketchup. A kind of work long enough to keep me busy for a long time.

A top dream?
That somebody will read my comic should I ever put an end to it
